Robbo’s tips for vein care
My name is Rob. I’m 27 years old and lived in Canberra for my whole life. I started using drugs…
Today CAHMA launches our nation leading model of care which has been 7 years in the development. It codifies the work of our unique and person centered individual care team, blending complex “case management” with peer support to give a unique, one on one, human rights and person centred model of care. We also share our challenges and learnings from operating a peer based organisation focused on harm reduction and drug and alcohol treatment support.
A blueprint for organisations operating in the alcohol, tobacco and other drugs sector – we pass on our knowledge with the hope that it can help drive change for people who use drugs and people who use drug treatment services in accessing support and treatment pathways.
Special thanks to ATODA & Elisabeth Yar, Canon Hanly, AIVL, Brindabella Print, Minister Rachel Stephen-Smith and the ATOD Policy Unit at Health and Community Services Directorate for their support. special thanks also goes to the Capital Health Network for part funding the PTSS service.
